i have 444 aluminum poker chips from vfw 3159 Iowa division. i bought them at a yard sale the lady was in her 70's and she told me they are her grandfathers. so i am figuring ww1- pre ww2 era. i have been doing this since i was a kid and do ok with it. my question is the rarity and value of these. i have seen 6 antique dealers just flip for these and i have spoken to the captin @ vfw 3159 in Iowa he was shocked they were even around anymore and told me of the value both as sentimental and the physical value. i cant find anything other then word of mouth on these. HELP! thanks guys.
