Here's one of the first Coca-Cola pieces I purchased, a 50's wall clock. There was a little stress involved after this transaction however. The clock was all original, pristine, and supposedly working when I bought it. The clock delivered, it was beautiful, perfect, I plugged it in, and... it didn't work! I thought about sending it back but decided I loved it too much. I found an old German clock smith in Lansing who heroically took it apart and replaced the inner works and cord. This man must have had 50 grandfather clocks in his basement he was working on. Straight out of Clock World. When I picked mine up, I noticed a couple tiny scratches on the painted face. I asked Mr. Miller how the repair went and he winced a little, said the thing had never been taken apart, casing was practically glued with age to the face, hands, etc. Ah well, gotta roll with it sometimes, right? Keeps perfect time. I hung it over the plasma with some of my other favs. If the TV shows get boring, I just look up and enjoy for awhile! Hope everybody has a nice Labor Day weekend. Best Regards, Dave

Very Beautiful clock
Thanks metalman!
Thanks Signaholic!
Thats a beaut.!! I'm looking for one myself, just sniped on one tonight! Scored a '50 fishtail though, first clock purchase, hope I don't have to go see a little clock-maker in his basement! Great signs also!
Thanks! I look forward to seeing your new clock. Before I purchased this one, I bid on a couple fish tail models, but lost out. If I get involved in an auction, I too stick to last second bidding, keeps prices down and me from getting carried away. It's good strategy. Glad to hear of your success, pickrknows.
Nice, great shape and glad to hear you got it ticking too.
