Came across this sign at an auction. I'm new to collecting, though I've never seen or heard of this oil company before. I love its simple look and the just the meaning of the word! I'm trying to find the perfect place to hang this.
It has some rust spots. But otherwise the colors are good. I was told at auction it was rated 7. No matter, I paid very little for it, it's huge (38X38)and I think it's cool.
I've been offered a trade for a few smaller signs that I've coveted from an acquaintance but I'm not sure what this guy is worth. Any help I'd appreciate it.
Nonetheless, I'm leaning towards keeping it, there's a great story to this company, they had some wacky ideas including "pink air" for your tires to keep them from dryrotting.
