I have a signed album dated 1865.
Photographers such as JR HICKS, D Sewell, Rulofsons, B F Howland.
Some have signed names and blue, red, orange and green two cent stamps on the back. Just wanted to know if anyone has more information on these old Photos?

Lori,
What is it you are looking to uncover? You've listed off some 19th century CA photographers and the stamps you mention are Revenue (Tax) Stamps that were used in the early to mid-1860's on photographs.
Are you a collector and are keeping this album for yourself or are you looking to value it so you can sell it?
No, I am not a collector. My cousin came across this during one of her moves. We know nothing about this and would like to know some history on this. And if this holds any value?? If so we would be interested in finding a buyer???
Thank you Morgan.

Rulofson is my great grandfather and I would happy to get any photographs by him.
