This beanpot was handed down to me when my grandmother died a few years ago. It had belonged to her mother. I'm guessing it's from the early 1900's. It is in beautiful condition even though it was used many, many times for my grandmother's famous baked beans. It's a two-toned pot that measures 22 1/2 inches around. The darker brown glaze on the top half of the pot is very smooth, while the cream colored glaze on the bottom half is a little rough. It has a cobalt blue insignia that is 2 inches wide of a crown with a number "2" in the middle. I've tried to research the insignia on the internet, but have had no luck. The pot also has an intact handle and lid (the lid does have a small chip on the edge). I know it was made in the states, as it has a "USA" stamp on the bottom. I would love to know who the manufacturer of this pot was and exactly how old it really is. Also, it's value today. My deepest thanks to anyone who would have information on my beanpot. Sincerely, Amy Poirier
