I bought this 11" flower on a hunch, knowing full well I really had no idea of its provenance. As I examined it, I was astonished by the workmanship. First, the scalloped foot, separated by the flower by a donut, so the beginning of the spiral is separate but rests on it (Pic. 2). Then, a sort of inner lining that not go all the way down the stem (P.3). And finally in the center of the bottom, a perfectly shaped glass "pearl" (Pic. 4)!
The glass itself is very heavy and shows no marks of being "pressed glass".
Whoever made it, it is a superb piece of glass.

Alfredo, that is the least attractive piece of glass I've seen for you. Interesting, though. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

It was the right price and I was intrigued by it. Believe me, it's not out of place in my glass garden.
