Another of my favourite pieces, beautiful colours. Quite a hefty piece, a well executed and lovely technique. Very clean.

Kraka Technique
The Kraka technique was developed by Sven Palmqvist in 1944, according to the Times of London's Ask the Expert: The Antiques Dealer. This technique is a variant of the Ariel technique that incorporates wire mesh as well as sandblasting. The wire mesh creates a fishnet pattern in which the trapped air bubbles appear in a geometric design between the glass layers.
