It is a 1 Litre (32 fl oz) beer stein made in West Germany (when Germany was divided). It is 12½" tall and weighs 2½lb (empty).
It depicts an armored knight on a horse by a castle, four other knights in a fight scene, a chicken, a cat and a goose, and has the saying "Unruhige Zeiten" (Troubled times) behind the handle. It also has the saying "Ruh has du nur in der Schenke" (You can only have peace in the tavern) around the bottom.
This is all I found looking it up on the internet. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me more about it. I got it from my grandfather. That is all I know. If someone could tell me more about it I would appreciate it.
