I recently came into this cool vintage ring which I believe is used for either snuff or poison.
It is stamped 925 and taxaco mexico.
Is there a better market for this as snuff box or just a vintage ring?

It is a poison pill ring. If captured the person would take the pill and die. That is what I was told?
Batia: Thanks for the info! When I found it I thought it was for snuff.
Pop: It was just a question of which category it fell into.
I certainly would not just take my word for it. This is just what I was told. They also make REALLY good replicas now. So, it might not really be that old? I have one too and it is much newer. I am guessing yours is also because it is marked 925 (that is the Serling silver %). I am not sure quite when they started marking jewelry like that, But I am fairly sure it was Not done on very old things? Again, I am NO expert, just passing along what I have been told. Good Luck! <3 B
Thanks Batia!
