Just purchased a cook stove that was manufactured by Armstrong Stove & Manufacturing Company in Perryville, MD. The company closed in 1951. We dismantled it to restore. This stove does have a floor base with legs to sit on. We can't find much history on this stove or the company. We live about 40 miles from were this was made. Would like any information on the stove that we could get.

I have a No. 12 Cannon heater (potbelly) stove that was made by the Armstrong Stove & MFG Co. Perryville MD. I too am having problems locating any information but did find this. http://siris-libraries.si.edu/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session=1322526OS10M3.159323&profile=liball&uri=link=3100006~!884195~!3100001~!3100002&aspect=subtab103&menu=search&ri=1&source=~!silibraries&term=Armstrong+Stove+%26+Mfg.+Co.&index=

I have no idea how to access it but it seems there is something there.
