This is one of my favorite items. On the bottom of the hat it says BROWN DERBY, HOLLYWOOD. It is a bell and is quite heavy. Was this a souvenir of the restaurant? I would love to find out more about this bell.

    I would say souvenir.My guess would be a "Gentlemans"club wink wink nod nod.A very high quality piece for a souvenir.A real beauty!
