This is my second favorite thing that I have ever found at a yard sale...it was TAPED (yikes!!!) up on a window by the checkout table and when I saw it I HAD to have it...it is vintage Nashville!!! It is a newspaper ad from what appears to be a St. Louis newspaper from 1897 advertising the Tennessee Centennial Exposition in Nashville. (I am going by the ads on the reverse side with pictures of men in period clothing and ads for hotels, etc., that were in St. Louis at that time.) I had a wonderful framer frame it between archival glass with no back so that you can see the front with the Centennial panorama as well as the old ads on the back. I think it is GORGEOUS...and it is SO Nashville!!! Hooray for estate sales!
