As you all know i love art deco glass and this is by one of my favourite designers Heinrich Hoffman, this particular design can bee viewed in the 1927 catalogue.
Although made from quite thick glass, the edges are polished to such a fine degree that they become susceptible to chipping, you will rarely find a piece that does not have some form of damage to the outer edge and base rim.
Notice the butterfly which is the signature of Hoffman.
