Purchased together, these two Japan wall pockets are my favorite. (Don't tell the others!) The terra cotta color, shapes and floral designs are reminiscent of early 20th century. Uncertain of their age and don't really care whether they are contemporary (midcentury forward). I have them hanging between two 1950s watercolor drawings in complimentary color schemes which I found at a vintage market and they look spiffy. Hope you enjoy them too.

Hi woolcott1. Thanks for the compliment - I passed it along to the wall pockets. They blushed. DD@Phila

Our treasures do tend to take on personalities of their own, don't they?! :))

Hmmm, you've got a point. I'd venture to say it was their "personality" that first grabs our attention when we see them ... ;]
