Found in a thrift shop, this very pretty split handle, drip glazed little pitcher looks like a creamer but could be for honey or syrup. It's only about 5 1/2 tall and about 4 1/4 in diameter" tall - has #665 on bottom - no other markings -

Can any of you fine people help me identify it? I love the colors and would love to find more pieces if they exist! Thanks!

I had seen this shape used by Purinton pottery in the past and was fascinated by it.They called it a honey jar.Recently a friend brought me 2 of these because she thought it matched one of the dinnerware sets I collect. And I'm thrilled that it does. There are so many different brown drip out there, but the glaze of Harker 's Quakermaid has just a touch of mint green in the drip like this. The Hulls' brown drip seems lighter /whiter in color. It does seem confusing because I have seen the green tinged drip attributed to Cannonsburg Rawhide in the past as well, but several of my pieces do have the Quakermaid backstamps.
