Pictured are pieces of equipment that a Japanese officer would be carrying during the war in the Pacific. Included in the grouping is a lightweight sun helmet, a map case, canteen with a small screwtop cup, belt, a walking crop, and his Shin-Gunto officer sword which still has the surrender tag attached. All of these pieces were brought back to the states by different veterans during and after the war.
