This one I believe would be my oldest coke bottle, made in Orangeburg, SC, too bad in has a crack from the top down about 3 inches.
Can anyone date this for me.
    Thanks

Bottle is probably from the teens. A shame it's cracked, in great condition these go for around $100.

look signaholic, you need a 12 step program. the bottle is from the early 1880's in the guamanian region. approxamently 40 north by northwest of singapore

      robdeckerla,
Signaholic is absolutely correct, that bottle is NOT from the early 1880's! It has a Crown Cork Closure.
Please note"Crown Cork Seal Closure, circ: 1892-1920,
      Invented by: William Painter,
      American Patent: February 2, 1892, Number: 468,226,
This stopper did not enjoy immediate success. It consisted of a metal cap that had a crimpled edge that when compressed secured the cap to a specially designed lip. A cork liner prevented contamination of the contents from the metal cap. "
You could probably take a 12 step bottle identification history class.

LOL robdeckerla your most def wrong, the bottle was made from 1905-1916 if you had Petretti's coca-cola collectible price guide you would know in a blink of a eye! maybe do some research before you say someone else is wrong, Signaholic was pretty close saying its from the teens, but the closest anyone is really able to date this bottle is 1905-1916.
