I have never seen another like this anywhere. I believe it is a vintage 1950's card display case. It is made by American Greetings and I guess would have displayed and stored cards in a department or drug store. I would love to know more about it. I bought it from a woman who bought it from someone who used to dress movie sets in Hollywood. I guess it might have been in some movies or tv shows, but can't be sure. I USE IT FOR: I have hundreds of plastiv envelopes of acrylic stamps that I store behind the glass squares. I store paper packets in the tier. I have ribbons, card bases, wooden stamps and other supplies in the compartmentalized drawers. This thing is in my office but was a pain to get in! It weighs a ton ( not literally, but maybe). My favorite part is where it says "American Greetings...please serve yourself. Pay clerk. If anyone knows more about it: year, value, where it would have been selling cards it, I would love to know. Enjoy!
