oberon
(1 item)
I've seen lots of acorn ornaments, but I've never seen one like this. It's only about 2" long and, for its size, it's quite heavy, so it isn't thin, blown glass. The green fringe and the hanger are applied. The fringe does have a diaper pattern and, it looks to me like the lines that continue the pattern on the hanger blob were incised. The man I got it from thought perhaps it is a whimsy?
I'd be very appreciative for any info on this ornament or for any speculation about time or place of origin. Do you think it would be OK to put it in a sonic cleaner?
Many thanks
