I bought this ashtray from a dealer who had alot of antiques and was a avid collector. I had to pay-up for it, considering it was a ashtray !! I Work for a Ford Dealership so Ford memorbilia stuff.... I Like ! I was a little leary of it being "1939" produced.....so I ask him if it was a Re-Pop and he said No, he had not had one before but he had bought it along with a box of other treasures at an estate sale auction. He said that there was no reason that it should have been a re-production. With the decline in smokers and such I agreed. I did have it looked at by another dealer who said he believed its also 'The Real Deal". Its in Great shape no chips only minor wear ! Any comments welcome...or if you have seen one before ?? Thanks for Looking !!
