This is another item from my Grandmother's home - the base is stamped Manufactured and Plated by Reed & Barton with the number 90 below it. The matching squirrels are 2" high. The second picture is of the base. My husband wants to hang it on the wall using the two holes, he thinks you can hang something on it. I think those are just casting marks, and I'm guessing a pen rest from inkwell days. Thanks for your input!

Scottvez, thanks for your input on both of my mysteries - makes sense to me, and yes, I can still see some silver.
They look to be in great shape and perfect candidates for replating, if you want to put the money into it.
