I just got this basket a couple days ago. What a beauty! Wonderful condition with just one tiny break of a couple stitches at the rim, made by the Hupa Tribe. So much time and effort goes into making one of these, with collecting materials from nature. The maker of this was patient, making the weave so tiny and the color is amazing still after all the years. I am dating this one at around 1910 to maybe 1930.
