This stick pin for the United States Military Academy (West Point), has the early style crest with the Roman Helmet facing in the incorrect direction.
The crest was established in 1899 and was updated in 1923 to be in accordance with heraldic traditions.
The back of the pin is maker marked, although it is too tiny for my eyes.

I watched it yesterday and really enjoyed the game.
10 losses in a row is hard to believe, but at least it was close game. If Army could have held on to the ball it would have been a better outcome (for me).
Even with a losing a record a win against Navy gives the Army team some feelings of success.
Next year-- GO ARMY!
