Oh I spent some bucks today but got some fun stuff, the only draw back was that we had to drive all the way to Atlanta to get it all. This is a 1926 OC sign made by Elwood Myers of Springfield, Ohio. Mr. Myers company made some early Coca Cola signs as well as Orange, Lemon and Lime Crush signs and Jewelry Store signs from the 20s before turning the his company over to
W. F. Robertson in the later 20s. Myers stayed on as Secretary of the company and W F Robertson made some Coca Cola signage as well. This sign would've been made right after N.C. Ward took the Ward name off the OC signs but before "Crushy" and the new logo came along in the 30s. Mr. Myers died at 53 after moving to Brookline, Mass. round 1931 I believe. Apparently he had some health issues in his later years. Love the stories behind these signs!
This is very thin sheet metal and it's amazing that it has lasted this long.

Thank you toolate2! It's good drink indeed! I remember as a kid, there were 2 other drinks I had to have if I didn't want a Coke. One would've been NuGrape and the other one was Orange Crush. I remember gettin those bottles out of a cooler that was kept so cold that there would be ice in the bottles, C'mon now!
