This is one of a pair of black on gold metal pins my grandmother used to wear. I can't remember if the other was looking the other way or the same way as this one. Now where did I put that thing?
It is an african lady, with a huge headdress!
It's a little under an inch tall, has no marks or stamps.
She has the old kind of safety closure, where you turned the hook to lock it in place. I remember her wearing it as early as the 60s.
