This is again a wonder of handcraft. I'm fond of Micro Mosaic as you can see on my latest photo. This brooch is 3.4 x 3.4 cm square in the middle a dove on a branche. Around flowers, an anchor and boom, and grapes. Can anyone tell me the symbolism of these ?
Furthermore, on the back site I think it's a hallmark in the middle of which an enlargement is shown in photo number 3. This hallmark shows a women's head looking tot the left wearing a crown. Under the head , I think to see a number 3. Does anyone know what this hallmark could mean? I look forward to your reply !

Hi I can't see the mark clearly but both Poland and Czechoslovakia use Hallmarks with a womans head and the number 3 below .

    Dear Ozmarty,
You helpt a lot with your suggestions. I looked for it on Poland and Czechoslovakia but that was not the mark. But after all I found the silver hallmark: from the Republic of Italy with this text:
    1872 – 1933 Optional National Marks
The crowned heads were optional Marks and silversmiths were not required to have their work assayed and stamped, consequently these Marks are not often found on Italian silver of the period.
After this it is goldfilled. But I know now which hallmark it has. Thanks !

To show I replaced another photo (3) of the hallmark.

Great ! I looked it up in my Tardy international Silver marks and on page 292 it says the same . It is 800 silver that is 800 parts per 1000 where as Sterling is 925 / 1000

Flowerrose than you have to collect a lot of items. My favorite parfum is Paris of Yves Saint Lorent

How lovely! Paris is wonderful - both in scent and actuality!

The scent of Paris is as mysterous as the color patron in Micro Mosaic.
