I was hiking near a burned down hotel.. The hotel was only opened from 1902 to 1912. Near the ruins a found a Coca-Cola bottle.. This sight is high up in the mountains. The Bottle is a the same styleUnion SC S-S Coke . The markings are not the same though at all. I have found that the bottle type was not made after 1915 or 1916.. The bottle reads – Upper Middle DENVER – underneath reads Coca – Cola underneith reads – Trade Mark Registered- underneith reads – Bottling Co.- underneith reads – Denver , Colo – On the back of the lower part of the bottle reads.. This Bottle Not Sold..
There are no other markings I can see.. The glass has no cracks but has some small bubbles in it. I cant find anything like it on the computer..

The big seed bubbles in the glass say pre 20's
The words "This bottle not to be sold" kinda says late 1800's to me
I'm guessing that bottle is a an applied lip and not an ABM.

I have a belt buckle with coke insignia, has a nun on it but back of buckel pulls up to reveal the nuns breast. The insignia looks athentic is it worth any thing? I also have a great collection of soda bottles, including one that has a donkey and prospector with the words silver state, and Reno probable from early 1900-40. Is this a coke bottle? a dealer told me it was ....thank you

I just found the same bottle at a landfill dig for an environmental clean-up near downtown Denver.
I too haven't found anything, other than this page, about the bottle. Have you discovered any new information?
      Thanks.

Your bottle is from 1915, and from a book I have the value (in 1994) was $75, for a good condition bottle. Yours looks a bit ragged, but still it's a nice old bottle!
