My knowledge around trains is rather limited, but I believe this set is from the 1920's. It is a cast iron engine with a wind-up key. I would greatly appreciate any information that anyone had on this particular train set. Thanks!!

What is the name/lettering on the sides of the passenger cars? Need better pictures, but most likely Hafner or American Flyer
