chess or checker board from 1897. very nice piece that is hanging on my wall in my office. i dont know what kind of wood it is, but i really like this a lot, value i have know idea or really dont care, its the history of the item that i do care about and how long this item has been on earth, in 3 days it marks 115th year on the 28th of sept. very cool piece of history.
