I have the charm exactly like that but it is in 14K gold. It does say Sugar Bowl Classic. The year appears to be in Roman Numerals.
Do you want to sell the 14Kt sugar bow?
joannetiques- i actually have been looking for information on a charm that i have and have found very little info until recently....i have a 14kt gold football charm from the 1936 sugar bowl classic between TCU-LSU...it was only the second every sugar bowl from what Ive figured out...didn't turn out so well for LSU as they lost 3-2 on a wet field but I have been looking for information because I am trying to sell mine...not sure if that is something you would still be interested in but I just found your comment while searching for information for this apparently rare(not alot of information around at all-only found a 1933 Michigan charm and a 1966 Texas A&M charm...I know my email will not be posted on this but will check back a few times to see if there is a response. thanks
Hello. My 14k Sugar Bowl Classic charm was stolen 4 1/2 months ago with 50 others. Really want another if anyone has one and will sell for a reasonable price. Mine was made by JMF. Thank you. Kay
These little jewels seem to be rare. I recently sold the silver one to a lady from New Orleans LSU fan. on icollect247.com/joannetiques
