RagtopBuic…
(1 item)
I was given this case earlier today, and I can't seem to find ANY information on the Golden X Company or the case. It isn't in perfect condition, and I'm more or less just trying to figure out as much as I can about it. It is missing 3 out of 6 of the tall bottles in the lid, and I believe at least one of the small jars on the left side. The thing that is interesting about this case versus others I have looked at are the Pyrex test tubes with rubber stoppers and the shallow Pyrex bowl (looks like a large contact lens). I can only assume that the Pyrex was used to heat the different grease and oil samples (many are from other Companies, for example 'Ford Ferguson') to demonstrate how Golden X was different from other lubricants. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. It really is a neat set overall.
