I don't know where I got this coin and I don't know anything about it. I have had it for years though and even though I don't know anything about it, I have kept it all these years. I would LOVE to know where it came from. Any thoughts on this coin?

WOW! THANKS!! Do you know what the words on it means? or the approximate year?
sorry, my knowledge is limited regarding that. Your best bet is to look on ebay for Thai coins and see if you find that is similar. usually sellers know. I find coins from thailand ocasionally at my job in the coin counter, that's the only reason i found anything out about them.
I did some checking on ebay yesterday but couldn"t find anything. Thanks for your help!
I found out the following information regarding your coin:
What you have is a 1 Baht Thai coin. They are currently in free circulation. The 1 Baht coin is nickel plated, 20mm in diameter and mass is 3G. Note: All Thai coins are imprinted on one side with H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the other side varies with different images. This particular coin ( 1 Baht ) has King on one side and the Phra Kaew Temple on the back. At current rates 1 Thai Baht is equal to o.o3 US Dollars...to reverse: $1.00 US Dollar is equal to 31.22 Thai Baht
That's GREAT, MarilynD826! Mystery solved! THANKS!!!!
