I started collecting Rindskopf because of a dealer who knew I liked tall vases sold them to me as "Loetz". Alas, with the publication of the Passau Museum Catalog (Band IV), I soon discovered my vases' real identity! Rindskopf made the same shape in different sizes, so I decided to concentrate on the tallest, 13", and the smallest, 6". All of the above are 13" tall and have polished pontils. The last one has been repaired, but I do not mind, since I have never been able to find another in that shape. Notice both the ridged and bull's eye optic patterns. By the way, the coloring resembles Loetz "Vulcan", except the tops are red, not reddish brown.

Superb! - Pepita is one of my favorite glass decors of all time. I hope some day Rindskopf is as appreciated as Loetz or Tiffany.

To judge by the current prices on E-Bay, they are! I'm lucky I collected before the boom, for which I am almost wholly guilty.

I just discovered I own a tall pepita and a tri-fold 8" pepita! Yours are beautiful!
