I thought this was such a clever piece. I see a different animal or bug every time I look at it. I couldn't find any mark on it, whether from a maker or for silver. I would love to hear any comments or suggestions??

This is one cool dragon!! No idea what the stone might be
but great piece just the same!
I was thinking maybe "the North Wind" but dragon.... I like that! Thanks
The scaly claws rule out the North Wind. If you look closely, the stone is held by the dragon's claws.
The dragon is flying, that's why you have the cloudlike swirls under it.
Maybe he represents a dragon that has captured a bit of the sky....just guessing, but all the same, a nice romantic notion.... ;)
Here is a matching ring. What I think is interesting is by his "wrist" is the symbol for wind.
