I need help identifying the type and value of this carved cuckoo clock. It has a lot of carving detail throughout-the river, waterwheel, deer, homes, trees. There are 2 doors, one is a wooden cuckoo bird and in the other door, a person. There is a music box inside.
Thank you in advance

Not sure if you're still looking for info on your clock, but I have one very close to it. My dad was stationed in Germany while in the army (mid 40's - early 50's), he purchased a clock that looks exactly like your's except there's not a 2nd floor on the chalet. It is a Black Forest of Germany, vintage G. M. Angem clock. If you remove the back cover, and look inside - you'll most likely see the name imprinted on the clockworks. Does your clock work?
Thank you for your help. I did sell the clock to a collector several months ago.
Cool! If you don't mind saying, I'd love to know what you got for it!
