Hello,
I am certainly not an expert on this whole glass thing, but to me they look Murano. I have done extensive research trying to identify my pieces and from what I have seen, these match the Murano type glassware. Also, if the flowers on the pieces are somewhat raised, or 3-d so to speak, I would say they are from the "third fire" collection or "Tre Fuochi". There are several pieces on this site, including my own, that are similar to your set that has the raised flowers and gold accents. One picture is of my decanter and 6 small glasses (all gold colored), and another picture is of a single glass that has the gold and flower design on it as well. You can google Murano third fire collection and find pictures on the Murano website of similar items. That is my best guess, and I am almost positive it is indeed Murano from what I have learned. Also, there has been a lot of examples of these types of sets on Ebay or another site I like is fossilfly imports "everything Murano" blog. You can become a member and look through pictures like this site. Hope this helps!
Thanks Jessie. I think you nailed it. My dad and mom visited Europe frequently in the early to mid 70's and I remember my dad buying a lot of blown glass pieces in Venice one year, including several blown glass animals. I appreciate you taking the time to answer - thank you.
I to collect this glass have been for almost 30 years. I have collected it from all over the U.S. as well as out of the country. My collection consists of about 150 plus pieces and it does come in all colors. Red, Green, Purple, Gold, Blue and some of the newer are cased mint green and pink and clear every time I go some place different I find something I don't have or another pattern or color. alot of this was made in the czech republic and hand varies but you can tell the earlier pieces from the newer pieces. So be aware there is a website it is bohemian glass and they now are showing alot of the newer glass
