I have a little vintage shop on Etsy and I wander about picking things up here and there. I make at least three stops a week to local thrift stores and estate sales. This particular record caught my eye just because A. I love the vintage picture on the front and B. It's an interesting one because she's holding the record that she's on and the image appears to go on for infinity. I have been doing research on this for a while and I can't find much on it. It appears to be an advertisement record made for Silentex. ( The tile on the ceiling in the picture) I can't find anything like it anywhere. There's some great music on it;Base-Ellington,Les Brown, Tony Bennet, Patti Page, Bobby Hackett and many more.
Can anyone tell me about this record? Did they make these often? When was it made there is no date anywhere.
I don't know if it's worth much , but it is a really cool vintage vinyl. In my humble opinion.
Thank you!!

It is very cool I agree. Sorry I don't know anything about it. I especially like that she is holding the same record that she is imaged on...
Thank you :) I like it too
