As a little girl, the one thing I remember most was my mom always having this book in her secretary desk "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain" ...... I used to spend hours trying to read it, but mostly just turning the pages to look at all the beautiful colorful (paper inserts) and illustrations by Norman Rockwell. The hardcover has grainy feel to it, and is still in great condition. It was copyrighted in 1936, by the Heritage Press, Inc, and I love that it is dedicated " To My Wife, This Book is Affectionately Dedicated" I know it's not worth anything more than the wonderful memories it holds for me. Thanks for looking!
