Here's a little something I saved from the trash. It's a 1930's beanie with buttons all dating to the 30's. Surrounded by cracker jacks prizes sewn around the outside. Several pins are political, but several are cartoon base, with a set of Jimmie Allen flying cadet wings(for those who don't remember Jimmie, It was a radio program about a young boy assisting a retired ww1 ace) Hope you like it

It never ceases to amaze me, what people will throw away. If you get the chance, please show some of the other pins / charms on the hat. What do those wings look like.
I'll post them shortly, the cap in on the night stand and easy to find, lol.
Bootson, added photos, # 3 shows the Jimmy Allen wings
Fun to see, thanks for posting.

Cool beanie!
Be still my beating heart ! I LOVE it and you look super my friend . Don't lay down with hat on though it could put holes in your head :-))))))
Girls didn't wear these but we collected pop beads in my day ! No cracker jack prizes we needed all colors of pop beads and would exchange them between us . I still have a few . Wonder why we didn't all choke on them as I am sure they would be hazad warnings all over them now as well as these tiny charms . Love it
Great beanie and picture of you. Didn't they also attach cigar bands to beanies in the 30's?

Now for the comments:
yes valentino97, I believe your correct on the cigar bands being used also.
Mani, if we had all the rules and suggestion as to proper play things and such, we'd never had any fun, I guess your not supposed to drink from a garden hose either, no wonder we're all not quite right. :-)
Eye4, what better place to have your "Dress-up" stuff? ;-)
