This is an original 1926 stone lithograph from my private collection of Magic posters. It is an 8-sheet poster measuring 9 feet tall (80"x 106")
Charles Joseph Carter was a lawyer, editor, boy wizard, and businessman. He began his career in entertainment as a solo performer on a medicine show, and evolved into a globetrotting illusionist. Decades of touring brought him great wealth and these spectacular theatrical advertising posters helped draw hundreds of thousands of theatre patrons to his shows. "Cheating the gallows" was one of Carter's greatest illusions performed.

Great poster!
This is one of my favorite posters in my collection and certainly the largest. I am fortunate enough to have the room to display it properly. Thank you for the appreciation brother!
