I picked up this deck of KEMs today at a yard sale. Initially it was just to get a nice deck of plastic cards for poker games.

The Ace of Spades code is 579, dating them May 1979. For being 30 years olf they are in pristine condition - I doubt they were used more than a few times.

What is interesting is the case. Most people I know say they haven't seen this kind of case before. It's a plastic or vinyl type material and the top flap folds up and tucks in to a piece on the front.

Just wondering if I stumbled onto something a bit rare. Anyone care to opine?

Nice set. Did you see this other Kem set from the '40s?
