Just aquired this 18K gold / Diamond Tiffany - Paloma Picasso rare dove brooch for my wife. I was wondering if anyone had any information about it / comments. It is a stunning piece. So little information is currently available about Paloma Picasso's early Tiffany pieces as Tiffany is supposedly getting rid of their archive services. If that is really the case then we the public will have to fend for ourselves when it comes to learning more about Paloma Picasso's rarer / limited edition / collector pieces.
Comments / feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Very Nice piece. My only comment has to do with the connection/inspiration? that her father's iconic Peace Dove drawing/print may have had in this design.
      Good Luck!

From my understanding. "Paloma" means Peace in Spanish.
This is a quote from Wikipedia
"Paloma literally means "dove" (or "pigeon") in Spanish. Paloma Picasso is represented in many of her father's works, such as Paloma with an Orange and Paloma in Blue.[1]"
So the answer to your question seems to be a resounding "yes".
      Thanks for your kind comment.
