Souvenir, Washington Monument Dedication, May 15, 1897 printed on the ribbon. The coin/ token in the cross I can not identify. From other GAR medals I have seen the Liberty Bell on the back of other coins but not Washington. Can anybody help me out with this? Who may have worn this type, and what does this type of Souvenir represent? How many of this Souvenir/ Medal are out there still?
