I got this cause it looked so cool and the sticks have both numbers and Kanji on them. I have no clue what they are for. I have a debate going with a friend on what they are. He thinks they're for some type of stick game. I think they might be from a Shinto Shrine for getting your fortune at new years or something. Everything is made from wood, including the tube. If anybody has any idea I would love to hear it. XD

It is a fortune telling game. You make a wish, shake the tube up, pull one stick out and then match the number from the stick to a booklet that has what your fortune is. I would say you are missing the book. I have one from Okinawa. Let me know if you would like me to copy my booklet for you.
