This little doll was given to me by my mother, who originally received it from an uncle posted overseas in the late 1940's. It features an inscription "Made in West Germany." I am looking for information on its maker and collectibility.

There are many souvenir dolls out there, and there is modest interest in them as collector's items. I'm not one of those collectors, but your doll is very sweet and looks well-made. So, I can't really help you at all, but just wanted to comment on how cute she is, and what a special treasure to have something with some personal family history. By the way, is January 8 your birthday, since that's your user name? It's my birthday!
