I picked this stool up with the porcelain advertisment top on it last week, it was sitting in an antique shop that had stuff on the top, so you really couldn't see the advertisment on it, I removed something sitting on top of it and then noticed it. A lot of the porcelain is missing, but for only 16 bucks I thought it was a steal, since Ive never seen a stool like this.

Thanks officialfuel and egreeley1976.
Your Red,White, and Blue independent telephone sign was used between 1900 to 1939. It was a way for (Non-Bell) independent telephone companies to attract attention to the independent companies all over the country. Inside the shield your sign says Local and Long distance.
Thanks ttomtucker I really appreciate the info, I was wondering what was on the inside of the sign, it seems to be an early stool!
I have never seen one like that either, its really cool it would look nice in my shop. So im going to have to find me one. Thanks for your awesome picture. Heidi(lovevintage) :-)
Thanks Heidi for the love, this stool was in a small antique shop off the beat and path, out of some ones barn. You never know where the bargains are going to show up! Good luck with everything!
