I wonder if anyone would know anything about my bear?
I know nothing about it, acquired it at a yard sale.
The stuffing is very firm. Almost like its stuffed with sawdust. When you squeeze the belly it feels like it may have at one time squeaked or made a noise. Im unsure if the collar and bell are original.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank You!

The little guy has been sitting on my shelf for probably 25 years when I bought him at a yard sale. I haven't thought about him in awhile but moved him to dust and thought I would try and find more about him.
Could be a Steiff. Is there a button or tag in his ear?
I can't find a button or tag. I looked in his ears and found no sign of a steiff type button.
I'll try and take some additional photos a bit later and post them. His head does not swivel, nor do any of his legs. The color of the photo is not even close to how he actually looks. The picture appears yellowish, and he is a beautiful shade of light brown. I'll take his measurements and new pictures and post in a bit.
Thank you! :)
Nope it is totally fixed.
I just posted some additional pictures that show his color and front view better. Still looking around the house for a ruler. :) I think the kids hid it! :)
Thank you SOOOO much for all of your help. With your suggested links, I believe I do have a Steiff.
I also found this picture that pretty much matches him identically.

After close inspection of my bear I believe his collar was originally green but has been painted red (unfortunately). But the small metal eyelet is still near the bell, that would have been the Steiff tag.
Thank you again!!!!!!!!
I would consider this case solved ! :)
