It would be helpful to see the back and to know what it's made of - ceramics, enameled metal?

This might be a dumb question but why buy something you know nothing about?
The price was right ...I take a gamble every now and again and it has worked out for me in the past :)
You buy it if you love it! What more reason do you need. If it turns out to be valuable, all the better.
