I saved these books from being thrown out by a neighbor. I have 17 in total Littlen Golden Books 90% of them published by Simon & Schuster the original pulisher. A few of them are from Golden Press. The yellow Howdy Doody is the first edition 1955 by Edward Kean and the second one is 1956 by Kathleen Daly. I have on Hanna Barbara "Cindy Bear" 1961, two Walt Disney and two Mickey Mouse Club and one of them being Bongo 1948. I'm torn between passing them onto younger family members who will destroy them or keep them as collectables.. Hmm, what to do.

I would share some quality time with those younger relatives, and read them together, supervising them, then put them away. Give them the feeling that these are "special" books and that they must learn to respect and cherish literature. You have the perfect instrument for that!!!
Great save! Good for you ;)
