    The first photo is pretty obvious--her wedding portrait. The second is when she was a teenager and the third when she was a child. And that's my dad in his Army uniform.

      @Esther, I love it, too. My grandfather was a photo bug and he used to take endless pictures of the kids.

      @Jason, if it makes you feel any better, he was a Merchant Marine before he was in the army because he could join when he was younger. He apparently saw more action as a MM, too. My poor grandmother thought he was safer with them.

      @Mrj, unfortunately, he didn't have the brains to realize it. :)

      Thank you everyone. My mother was one of the gentlest, most open-hearted people you could ever meet. Still miss her.
